REGISTRATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR MANUAL MEDICINE SEMINARS
Participation Requirements for Seminars;
a. To be a medical doctor (To be a graduate of medical schoolo)
b. During the seminars, the attendants must agree to take the practices and make them among themselves.
Certificate Requirements;
a. The attendants should successfully complete 4 basic, 7 advanced steps, Basic and advanced hospitation seminars (total 370 hours)
- Seminar 1 - 4 includes basic education which is 120 hours in total. Oral examination will be done after basic education. Only those who pass the oral exam can attend advanced courses.
- Seminar 5 - 11 includes advanced education which is 210 hours in total. (As a rule; completion of the first 4 steps and passing the midterm exam is compulsory to attend advanced seminars.)
- Participants can attend in basic and advanced seminars without a ranking system within themselves.
- Physicians who are graduates of neural therapy are exempt from the 11th step of seminars.
b. Basic and advanced hospitation seminars are total of 40 hours.
c. Participant should be a member of MTAR (Manuel Medicine-Pain Regulation) association.
D. For certification, the participants should present 2 case report, and should pass the written, oral and practical final exams.

Manuel Medicine Seminar 1st Step (Basic Seminar-30 hours)
• Anamnesis with Classical and Manual Medicine Approach
• Manual medicine indications and contraindications
• Cervical and lumbar segmental examination
• Cervical and lumbar anatomy
• Segmental assessment of cervical and lumbar zone
• Cervical and lumbar segmental mobilization
• Fundamentals of cervical and lumbar manipulation therapy
• Cervical and lumbar basic manipulation techniques
• Segment mobilization techniques in individual spinal column sections
• Introduction to neuromuscular therapy techniques
• Diagnostic techniques of functional segmental irritation point for chiropractic treatment targeted in the cervical and lumbar spine zone.
Manual Medicine Seminar 2nd Step (Basic Seminar -30 hours)
• Anamnesis with Classical and Manual Medical Approach
• Manual medical indications and contraindications
• Thoracic and SIE segmental examination
• Thoracic and SIE anatomy
• Segmental assessment of Thoracic and Sacroiliac joint
• Segmental mobilization of thoracic and SIJ zone
• Fundamentals of thoracic and SIE manipulation therapy
• Basic manipulation techniques of Thoracic and SIJ zone
• Segment mobilization techniques in individual spinal column sections
• Introduction to neuromuscular therapy techniques
• Diagnostic techniques of functional segmental irritation point for chiropractic treatment targeted in the thoracic and SIJ zone.
Manuel Medicine Seminar 3rd Step (Basic Seminar -30 hours)
• Functional anatomy of upper extremity joints
• Functional examination of the joint mobility (especially on the limb joints)
• Biomechanics and functional importance of the joints.
Muscle function tests and assessment of myotendinous reactions in joint movement disorders.
• Mobilization and manipulation techniques of upper extremity joints in the treatment of hypomobility disorders
• Postisometric relaxation in upper extremity joints and targeted muscle stretching practice
• Diagnosis and treatment of upper extremity joint disorders in the context of pseudodular spinal syndromes
• Diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joints with manual medicine approach
Manual Medicine Seminar 4th Step (Basic Seminar -30 hours)
• Functional anatomy of the lower extremity joints
• Functional examination, especially mobility of joints on the limb joints
• Biomechanics and functional importance of the joints
Muscle function tests and assessment of myotendinous reactions in joint movement disorders.
• Mobilization and manipulation techniques of lower extremity joints in the treatment of hypomobility disorders

• X-ray diagnosis under manual medical conditions (exclusion of contraindications and functional assessment)
Manuel Medicine Seminar 8th Step (Advanced Seminar -30 hours)
• Visceral and TMJ dysfunctions
• Fundamentals of visceral mobilization
• Basics of manual therapy in children
• Examination and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction
• Evaluation of muscle movement patterns, fascia, visceral responses, neural innervation, segmental spinal and autonomic nervous system relationships within the locomotor system.

• An overview
• General review of the spine system

Manual Medical Seminar 10th Step (Advanced Seminar - 30 hours)
• Differential diagnosis of pseudoradicular spinal syndromes specific to manual medicine indications.
• Review of spinal articular mobilization techniques including related soft tissue and muscle techniques
• Introduction to X-ray functional diagnosis under manual medicine features
• Targeted manipulation of sacroiliac joints, spine joints and costotransversal joints
• Indication and technique of risk-free manipulation for the treatment of spinal obstruction
